They are seeking an experiencedCivil Construction Supervisorto oversee on-site civil works during the construction of utility-scale energy storage facilities. Key Responsibilities Supervise and oversee all civil construction activities on utility-scale BESS projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.Manage and coordinate civil subcontractors on site, monitoring workmanship, compliance, and construction progress.Review and approve construction methodologies, inspection plans, and quality documentation related to civil works.Conduct inspections and acceptance of foundations, earthworks, concrete structures, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure.Identify and mitigate construction, quality, and safety risks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out effectively.Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical, and commissioning teams to support efficient project execution.Support project handover activities, punch-list management, and final acceptance processes.Maintain accurate site documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, construction logs, and photographic evidence.Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, industry standards, and project HSE requirements. Requirements Fluent German and professional English communication skills.Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 3 years' experience supervising civil construction works on renewable energy, power generation, utility, or infrastructure projects.Experience with BESS, solar PV, substations, grid infrastructure, or other energy projects is highly desirable.Strong understanding of civil construction methods, quality control processes, and site safety management.Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple stakeholders on active construction sites.Comfortable working in a site-based environment and travelling to project locations as required.European project experience is advantageous. This individual will be responsible for process optimization and continuous improvement, focused on improving performance, efficiency, reliability, and overall operations. Responsibilities: Experience developing and reviewing key process engineering documentation, including process designs, PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, process calculations, and equipment/process data sheets.Strong technical problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), resolving process and engineering issues, supporting vendor selection and proposals, and applying relevant industry codes and standards.Ability to review and interpret control systems, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI, and support testing.Ability to have technical discussions and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and different business units.
