We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing software business operating within the eMobility sector.

 

Following significant investment and continued expansion across Europe, the business is looking to strengthen its DACH sales team with a proven new business hunter who can identify, engage and convert strategic customers across the EV ecosystem.

 

This is a highly commercial role, with ownership of the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through to negotiation and closing.

 

You will target key segments across the DACH market, including utilities, fuel card providers, CPOs, leasing companies and rental companies, helping the business expand its customer base and establish new strategic partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle across the DACH market, from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close
  • Generate new business through proactive outbound prospecting, networking and market development
  • Identify and engage senior decision-makers across utilities, fuel card providers, CPOs, leasing and rental companies
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline across the DACH region
  • Develop strategic relationships with key customers and partners within the eMobility ecosystem
  • Understand customer requirements and position the company's software solutions accordingly
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage opportunities through to successful completion
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and wider commercial team to develop the DACH go-to-market strategy
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape the company's European growth strategy
  • Represent the business at relevant industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

 

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within a technology, software or energy environment
  • Direct experience within eMobility / EV charging is essential
  • Proven track record of winning new business and consistently generating revenue
  • Strong hunter mentality with the drive and resilience to build a market from the ground up
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and qualification through to closing
  • Existing network across the DACH eMobility ecosystem would be highly advantageous
  • Comfortable selling into senior stakeholders and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Commercially driven, self-motivated and comfortable working in a high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of the EV charging and wider eMobility landscape
  • Fluent German and strong English communication skills
