Piper Maddox is partnered with a leading organization in the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and Waste-to-Energy sector that is seeking an experienced HSE Site Manager to support a major active construction project.

This individual will take ownership of on-site health, safety, and environmental activities, ensuring construction operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards. The HSE Site Manager will maintain a strong field presence, working closely with contractors, project teams, and site leadership to drive safety performance and a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Responsibilties:

  • Ability to conduct daily site walkdowns, safety audits, inspections and monitor contractor compliance.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and enforcing site HSE requirements.
  • Experience leading incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.
  • Experience preparing HSE reports, statistics, and project documentation.
  • Ability to work closely with project management, contractors, clients, and corporate HSE teams.
  • Experience reviewing and implementing EHS plans, procedures and JHA.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HSE experience supporting construction projects and/or heavy industrial environment
  • Experience in biogas, waste-to-energy, oil & gas, chemicals, power generation, or similar heavy industrial environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working on EPC projects and large industrial construction sites.
  • OSHA 510 certification.
