Piper Maddox is partnering with a longstanding industrial water treatment company, searching for an Environmental Engieering Specialist to support their growing company and existing client base.

 

Currently backed by private equity, this nationwide organization is looking to build the biological wastewater team in the Northeast Region.

 

This role is high impact, client facing role that is focused on supporting & building relationships across wastewater and industrial treatment markets, while delivering hands-on technical expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and grow relationships within an existing customer base across wastewater and industrial treatment facilities
  • Provide technical expertise and optimization strategies for biological treatment systems, including aerobic and anaerobic processes
  • Assist in delivering and managing chemical treatment programs and solution-based services
  • Build strong relationships with plant operators, engineers, and key decision-makers
  • Travel to customer sites (8-12 days/month) to support client engagement and system performance

 

Background & Experience:

  • Engineering degree
  • Foundation in engineering fundamentals, including calculations, concentrations, excel, etc.
  • Experience with biological wastewater treatment systems
  • Experience working in a plant or industrial environment
  • Ability to travel 8-12 days/month
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in a client-facing / technical sales-oriented role
  • Interest and a willingness to learn both the technical and commercial side

Key Responsibilities include: Lead the planning, preparation, submission, and management of environmental permits required to support the development, construction, expansion, and operation of energy and infrastructure projects. Coordinate permitting activities across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.Develop, implement, and oversee environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
