Our client is an internationally active and fast-growing renewable energy company headquartered in Northern Germany. Many years in the German market, and several hundred employees working on investing, developing, building, and operating large-scale solar plants.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical inventory and condition assessments of 110 kV substations
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing preventive measures
  • Creating and maintaining asset lifecycle plans, including spare parts management
  • Monitoring external operations and managing related service contracts
  • Stakeholder management with relevant partners (e.g. fire department, landscaping services, agricultural partners)
  • Establishing and maintaining asset valuation statistics
  • Developing and implementing monitoring systems for condition-based maintenance
  • Maintaining and updating audit and compliance documentation

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering or comparable technical qualification
  • Proven experience in the operation of substations or similar technical facilities
  • Valid Class B driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Structured, independent working style with a high level of reliability
  • Strong communication skills and confident professional presence
  • High level of initiative and ability to work effectively in a team

Would you like to support the development of hybrid-electric propulsion systems as part of a major UK government-backed R&D programme?
