A global, world leading engineering client of ours is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a six month contract, supporting the development of low-voltage electrical distribution, control panels and switchboards for cutting-edge marine projects.

 

You’ll be responsible for taking completed electrical designs and producing the detailed wiring schedules and documentation required for build and assembly. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate, compliant wiring information is delivered for manufacturing.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Derive detailed wiring schedules from existing electrical drawings.
  • Create interconnection tables and termination documentation using AutoCAD.
  • Support panel production teams with clear, accurate wiring information.
  • Conduct design checks to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Work alongside engineers across design and manufacturing functions.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in electrical design or wiring documentation for control panels, LV distribution systems or similarly complex electrical power systems.
  • Skilled user of AutoCAD Electrical (EPLAN beneficial).
  • Understanding of LV systems, control logic, and wiring standards for industrial or defence applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
