We're supporting a fast-growing renewable energy business which focuses on largescale battery storage (BESS) systems. They've been in the market for over 5 years, building BESS projects up to 100 MW!

They're now looking for a Grid Connection Engineer who will lead the planning of projects from initial planning, through to construction & commissioning. If you're fairly new to the industry and looking for a change, this could be the role for you:

Ingenieur Netzanschluss / Grid Connection Engineer:

  • Salary: Up to €70, 000 annual salary.
  • Location: North Rhine-Westphalia. Hybrid preferred, but can be remote (within Germany).

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in medium & high-voltage grid connections.
  • Renewable energy experience e.g. wind, solar, BESS.
  • Knowledge & compliance according to VDE-AR-N 4110, 4120.
  • Proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, EPLAN etc...
  • Fluent German (C1).

This is a senior position within the group with the potential to grow a team around this role. Previous experience with leadership would be highly regarded for this opportunity. As this is a senior position in the team, we're also open to various backgrounds of skills. Experience from within other consultancies, NESO, DNOs or advisory companies would also be great for this role. Composites Design Engineer

A UK aerospace start-up developing a new class of lightweight, electrically powered aircraft is growing its internal structures capability and is now looking for a Composites Design Engineer to join the team.This is a hands-on role within a small, talented engineering group working across concept development, detailed design, analysis and build support. You’ll have the chance to influence key structural decisions on a novel aircraft platform and see your work progress quickly into test and development. The OpportunityYou’ll own composite component design from first principles through to production-ready detail, using Siemens NX for modelling and contributing directly to structural analysis, optimisation and documentation.
