We're seeking an experienced Lead Functional Safety Engineer to join an engineering team based in Warwickshire. This role promises hands-on engagement throughout the life-cycle of pivotal UK and international industrial, renewable energy and marine projects, allowing you to drive and shape the future of functional safety in power engineering.



In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate with an expert, multidisciplinary team, directly impacting safety standards across engineering projects. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, from leading functional safety analyses and creating management plans to supporting and mentoring project teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a Functional Safety Engineer with a strong background in industrial, marine, aerospace or defence safety standards and a commitment to safety excellence.



What you'll bring to the team:

A degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering field
Certified Functional Safety Engineer credentials and comprehensive safety knowledge
Hands-on experience in Functional Safety documentation and analysis, including FMEA, FTA, HARA activities
Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC Level)
Ideally, experience within renewables, industrial, heavy transportation or the defence sector
