Responsibilities: Lead utility-scale solar project development from inception to NTP/COD, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Identify and assess potential project opportunities, conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery within specified parameters. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory agencies, utilities, and community members, to facilitate project development and resolve any issues that may arise. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience in utility-scale solar project development. Strong understanding of solar energy technologies and project finance. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or related field. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, lead cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Head of Legal - Remote (4 day working week but pay is NOT pro-rata) - Solar/BESSPiper Maddox are exclusively representing a rare opportunity to come in and head up a small well-funded agile developers legal function has come across my desk.A massive selling point of this company is the way they put peoples personal life first, and they do this by operating a 4-day working week which allows people to have every Friday off and not be on a pro-rata pay.
