Piper Maddox has just been engaged on an exclusive, confidential search to support one of the leading international fund/asset managers in the energy space, in finding the first Director of Project Finance, for their growing US-based team. This smaller US team, is a subdivision of a leading international asset manager with focuses across all real-assets, and over 60k employees. They currently own 23 power plants globally, with 3.7GW of operational assets in the pipeline, and are on track to get to 5GW strong, by 2025. They have a unique strategy as compared to your run of the mill energy provider, as they look to acquire utility-scale projects at the NTP stage, and then finance, build, operate and own the asset over the long-haul, and reap the ROI associated with holding a power and revenue generating asset over an extended period. They've been quite successful in exercising this strategy up unto this point, with 500MW of solar + storage assets already acquired across 2 major projects in ERCOT. At this rate, they are ahead of schedule as far as hitting their goal of a 1GW fully operational pipeline, by 2025. They are looking for Director/ Sr. Manager of Project to join the lean and dynamic team and act as the deal lead in their project financings, tax-equity closings, and spearhead the origination of new financing relationships. Role: Senior O&M ManagerLocation: England - Remote/Hybrid WorkingWith 20+ years of wind & solar power experience, my client is an expert within the renewable energy industry. Additionally, they're a global competitor with over 40,000 employees across 6 continents which gives you plenty of international opportunities.
