Director of Portfolio Management$180,000 - $220,000 + bonus & equityLocation: New York Piper Maddox are currently partnered with a leading, climate transition focused investment platform as they build out their portfolio management division. Within this role you will oversee the performance and optimization of our growing portfolio of renewable and sustainable infrastructure investments. This role will lead portfolio monitoring, risk management, and value creation strategies across operating assets while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong financial and sustainability outcomes. What you will do:Lead the management and optimization of the investment portfolio across renewable energy, storage, sustainable infrastructure, and efficiency assets.Develop and implement portfolio strategies to enhance performance, manage risk, and maximize long-term value.Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting at the asset and portfolio levels.Collaborate with asset management, finance, and investment teams to ensure proactive monitoring and mitigation of portfolio risks.Maintain relationships with operating partners, developers, and other key stakeholders to drive operational excellence. What you will have:10+ years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, or investment management, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.Strong financial and analytical skills with deep understanding of project finance, structured investments, and capital markets.Experience in either utility or distributed generation renewable energy projects is critical.High caliber and professional interpersonal, negotiation, communication, time management and presentation skills This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading investment platforms in the renewables space.
