Piper Maddox have recently been engaged by an exciting distributed energy start-up that specializes in converting commercial and industrial facilities into grid connected power stations.

Their proprietary software allows customers to optimize assets, ultimately reducing energy consumption, energy costs and facilities the ability to sell excess energy stores.

Together, we are searching for a skilled Power Systems Engineer to join their team, with the view of building an entire division around this hire.

In this role, you will have a variety of responsibilities including;

• Initially, operate in a full stack capacity, completing tasks related to design, architecture, power system function build out & overseeing all EPC activities, completing all Interconnection work (studies and deployment).

• The role will evolve into a true leadership position with the anticipated team size being 6 by end of 2027. At this point the position will focus much more on the Architectural and Design function of new client build outs/ existing client retrofits.

The ideal person will have a background similar to the below:

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree within a related discipline (Electrical Engineering, Power Systems etc)

• Tenured within the industry, minimum of 5 years experience leading Power Systems Projects.

• A background working directly with the Utilities, resulting in a deep understanding of the interconnection process.

• Background & interest in Power Generation systems including Heat and Power, BESS, MicroGrids etc.

Currently, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the team. This person will be responsible for designing, developing and validating all electrical systems. Sr Test Engineer

Job Title: Senior Test Engineer JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for defining and implementing effective testing processes for transformers to meet national and international standards and customer specification. The process requires the correct interpretation and application of customer requirements, industry standards, and design to ensure testing performed meets the level of performance and reliability requirement. Senior Test Engineer position requires high levels of skills and expertise with Electrical Power, High Voltage Engineering techniques and/or Automated Test Systems, providing technical expertise to customers both within and outside of the organization. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Define and implement effective testing processes for transformers to meet customer specifications and industry standards. • Review testing requirements and identify/resolve gaps based on Customer specification, Industry standards and testing capabilities.
