Commercial Manager, US Ethanol

Whitefox Technologies is looking for a Commercial Manager, US Ethanol to drive growth across the US ethanol market.

This is a remote role based in the Midwest, with 40–50% travel to ethanol producer sites and occasional travel to London. You’ll build senior-level producer relationships, develop new business, manage the commercial pipeline, and drive revenue growth for Whitefox’s advanced technology solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth across the US ethanol market
  • Build and manage relationships with senior ethanol producers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in a hunter-style role
  • Own the US sales pipeline, CRM, and monthly forecast
  • Lead consultative sales through complex, engineering-led capital projects
  • Build customer ROI, payback, and economic justification cases
  • Work closely with engineering, product, project management, and customer service teams
  • Travel 40–50% to customer sites across the US

What We’re Looking For

  • Direct US ethanol industry experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of ethanol plant economics and customer buying decisions
  • Existing relationships with senior ethanol stakeholders such as Plant Managers, GMs, and CEOs
  • Proven experience selling complex, engineering-led capital equipment or technical solutions
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a hunter-style commercial role
  • Understanding of ethanol processes including distillation, dehydration, and evaporation is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry policy, including 45Z and E15, is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
