About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join a growing EV charging business and take ownership of new business development across Germany.

This is a true hunter role, focused on identifying, developing and converting new commercial opportunities. A key part of the role will be leveraging an existing network of EV charging installers, electrical contractors, infrastructure providers and other key industry stakeholders to build a strong and consistent sales pipeline.

The ideal candidate will already have a well-established network within the German EV charging installation market and be confident using those relationships to open doors, generate opportunities and win new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage an established network of EV charging installers, electrical contractors and installation partners across Germany.
  • Proactively identify and target new customers and commercial opportunities.
  • Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Develop new relationships across the EV charging ecosystem, including installers, CPOs, fleet operators, energy companies and developers.
  • Utilise existing industry relationships to generate introductions and accelerate the sales process.
  • Conduct proactive outbound business development through calls, networking, events and direct outreach.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Understand customer requirements and position the company's EV charging solutions accordingly.
  • Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to convert opportunities into successful projects.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and provide regular pipeline and revenue forecasts.
  • Identify new routes to market and develop strategic partnerships that can accelerate growth.

About You

The successful candidate will be commercially driven, proactive and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to create opportunities rather than simply manage existing accounts.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within EV charging, electrical infrastructure, energy or a related sector.
  • An established network of EV charging installers and electrical contractors in Germany.
  • A strong track record of generating new business and winning new customers.
  • A genuine hunter mentality with the drive to open new doors and build relationships from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of the German EV charging and eMobility market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and working towards revenue targets.
  • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your territory.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel across Germany as required.
