Piper Maddox have recently partnered with an EV Charging Infrastructure organization that partner with a variety of customers including Commercial Properties, Retailers & Municipalities.

Together, we are searching for a number of Lead Electricians to join their team across the US. Positions range from Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami or Tampa) through to Georgia (Atlanta) and Texas (San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Houston).

This organization offer both Level 2 & Level 3 (DC Fast Charging) options, they cover the full project lifecycle which includes site design, site assessment, engineering, permitting and O&M services.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry using hand tools and power tools.
  • Trouble-shoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using the appropriate testing equipment to find and correct the failure.
  • Use of ohm meter, volt meter, amp probe and megger is required
  • Install conduits, pull wire and make final connections to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, Point of Sale consoles, tank monitors and petroleum lighting.
  • Inspect electrical system and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Verify proper operation of the electrical system.
  • Advise management, customers and fellow workmen when hazards are present and when electrical systems are safe to operate.
  • Assist estimator with material take-off, material cost and labor allowances.

Background

  • A minimum of 1 year experience, can go as high as experienced foreman. 
  • Experience working on EV installation projects would be highly valuable. 
  • Licensed in the relevant state. 
  • Strong knowledge of the various standards and codes.

Project Manager - RNG

Piper Maddox is partnering with a growing renewable energy and industrial services organization supporting digester-based biogas infrastructure across the U.S. This is a hands-on field leadership opportunity focused on the construction, commissioning, and maintenance of anaerobic digester and RNG facilities within a multi-site operating environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support digester installation and field execution activities across multiple active biogas and RNG sitesOversee mechanical construction activities including bolt-up installs, piping tie-ins, roof systems (membrane/gas-tight), mixers, pumps, and gas handling systemsPerform troubleshooting and real-time problem solving on digester and biogas system issues in the fieldRead and execute from P&IDs, engineering drawings, OEM manuals, and technical specificationsCoordinate daily with general contractors, site managers, engineers, OEMs, and field crews to ensure safe and efficient project deliverySupport commissioning, startup, and operational ramp-up of biogas and RNG systemsConduct site inspections, ensure quality control, and maintain adherence to safety and project specificationsTrain, develop, and supervise field crews and subcontractors across active job sitesManage multiple projects simultaneously across different geographic locationsEnsure compliance with safety protocols including confined space, H2S, and gas hazard proceduresMaintain clear communication and reporting to leadership regarding project progress, risks, and execution status Qualifications and Background: 8–12+ years of experience in biogas, anaerobic digestion, heavy industrial construction, or field project executionStrong hands-on experience with digester systems, including installation, maintenance, cleanouts, or commissioningBackground in mechanical field work including pumps, mixers, piping systems, gas handling, and rotating equipmentAbility to read and execute from engineering drawings, P&IDs, and OEM documentationExperience leading field crews, subcontractors, or multi-disciplinary site teamsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in live field environmentsExposure to commissioning/start-up activities within biogas or industrial process systems highly preferredConfined space entry, H2S awareness, and other relevant safety certifications preferredWillingness to travel across active project sites in the U.S.Strong communication skills and ability to operate in fast-paced, field-heavy environments Why Join?
