We're looking for a Licensing Engineer with experience in nuclear licensing, regulatory compliance, and technical writing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare regulatory submissions, support NRC engagement activities, and advance the licensing of innovative reactor technologies.

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing, engineering, quality assurance, technical writing, or related functions within the nuclear or energy sectors.
  • Experience interfacing directly with the NRC through regulatory submissions, reviews, audits, inspections, or licensing activities.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Senior Electrical Planning Engineer (AC) | Commercial & Industrial PV / BESS The OpportunityWe're working with a leading EPC business to appoint a Senior Electrical Planning Engineer to take ownership of the AC engineering for commercial & industrial (C&I) photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Germany. This is a senior technical role where you'll lead the electrical planning process from initial design through to commissioning, acting as the key interface between engineering, project management, grid operators, customers and electrical subcontractors. The RoleAs the Senior Electrical Planning Engineer, you'll be responsible for the complete AC engineering scope across C&I PV and BESS projects, including: Leading the electrical planning and execution design of C&I PV and BESS installations from concept through to commissioning.Developing and reviewing electrical design documentation, including metering, protection and control concepts.Assessing existing customer electrical infrastructure and defining the technical requirements for grid integration.Coordinating directly with grid operators on grid connection applications, connection points, metering concepts and protection requirements.Preparing technical calculations, cost estimates and quotations for the electrical scope of works.Managing and coordinating external electrical installation partners throughout project delivery, including reviewing completed works and invoices.Acting as the technical lead for AC engineering, supporting Project Managers, Engineering teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers within the team.Supporting commissioning, system acceptance and certification activities.Maintaining close communication with customers, future asset operators and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
