Construction Supervisor - Renewable Energy - BESS / PVLocation - Augsburg, Germany A global energy and industrial organisation is expanding its renewable energy footprint across Germany and is seeking a Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is a key on-site leadership role responsible for coordinating daily construction activities, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical and quality standards. The role offers the opportunity to play a central part in the company’s renewable expansion across the German market. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopesAct as the primary site contact for the Project Manager on operational mattersSupervise subcontractors and ensure alignment with schedules and work plansManage short-term planning, daily coordination, and work sequencingEnsure works comply with drawings, specifications, RAMS, and QA/QC standardsPromote and enforce HSE compliance and safe systems of workMonitor progress, manpower, and productivity, identifying risks or delays earlyCoordinate technical interfaces and escalate design or execution issuesSupport commissioning preparation, inspections, and handover documentationProvide clear reporting on site progress, risks, and resource requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline5+ years’ experience in large-scale construction projects (renewables or energy infrastructure preferred)Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractorsStrong understanding of German construction standards, QA/QC processes, and HSE requirementsExperience with planning, reporting, and site coordinationValid German driving licenceStrong leadership, organisational, and communication skillsWillingness to travel and work across project sites in Germany This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the growth of a major international renewable energy business entering a strong expansion phase in Germany and become apart of one of the largest EPCs in Europe.
