About the RoleAs Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of strategic and operational procurement for complex, large-scale energy storage projects. Working closely with internal teams across technology and project management, as well as external suppliers and contractors, you will ensure an efficient, timely, and cost-effective procurement process — from market analysis and tendering through to contract negotiation and handover. Your ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Market Analysis Develop and implement a cross-project procurement strategy for key product groups and servicesContinuously monitor and evaluate relevant markets, technologies, and supply trendsIdentify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities across the procurement lifecycle Supplier & Relationship Management Build and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers, contractors, and service providersConduct regular supplier evaluations focusing on quality, reliability, and performanceSupport the development of long-term sourcing strategies and framework agreements Tendering & Offer Management Prepare and manage comprehensive tender documentation in collaboration with engineering and project management teamsOversee the entire tender process, including bid coordination, supplier communication, and support during contract negotiationsPerform commercial and technical bid evaluations and provide well-founded award recommendations Contract & Order Management Oversee contract preparation, documentation, and approval workflowsEnsure seamless handover to project management and finance teamsMaintain process compliance and transparency throughout procurement and contract management Your Profile Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical or commercial field3–5 years of professional experience in strategic or technical procurement, ideally within energy infrastructure, renewables, EPC, or plant engineeringProven experience managing complex tendering and award processesStrong market knowledge of suppliers and components in the renewable or energy storage sectorsExcellent communication and negotiation skills in German and EnglishStructured, self-driven working style and a high degree of process reliabilityConfident use of MS Office; experience with ERP or AVA systems is advantageous What’s on Offer A dynamic working environment with short decision-making paths and direct impactResponsibility from day one and the opportunity to shape strategic procurement in a growing sectorA motivated, interdisciplinary team with flat hierarchiesFlexible working hours and hybrid work optionsOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation package and additional benefitsThe chance to contribute directly to the technical realization of the energy transition and apply cutting-edge technologies in practice
