The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of renewable energy EPC projects, from early design and budgeting to construction and handover. You’ll coordinate engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage renewable EPC projects from design through completion
  • Conduct site surveys and assess local conditions and suppliers
  • Support budget preparation and cost control
  • Develop and track project schedules and milestones
  • Oversee contract preparation with suppliers/subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE standards
  • Lead project handover to O&M team

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (MSc preferred)
  • Proven experience delivering renewable EPC projects
  • PMP or MBA qualification is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Sr. Project Manager

Piper Maddox has partnered with a well-established independent power producer to identify a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their growing North America team. The company develops and owns assets in wind, solar, and energy storage, with a global portfolio spanning Canada, the UK, and the US. They are expanding in the US, and the team is in a growth phase with a large volume of hires expected. The company’s first utility-scale solar projects in the US include two sites (200 MW and 250 MW) located within 30 miles of each other. Construction is scheduled to continue through 2030, providing long-term project security. In addition, the business has 700–800 MW of pipeline in early- to mid-stage development in New York State, with additional projects in Pennsylvania and Illinois. The Senior Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing one of the utility-scale solar projects through the construction phase. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams—including engineering, procurement, and project control—as well as external contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
