Position: BESS Field Service Engineer
Location: South England (On-site)
Salary: £55,000 DOE

My client is a leading energy solutions provider focused on advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As my client expands, they are seeking experienced BESS Field Service Engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of their energy storage systems across the UK market.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of our energy storage units. You'll handle everything from scheduled inspections to troubleshooting, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and conduct inspections of energy storage systems.
* Upgrade system software and firmware as required.
* Analyse operational data to monitor performance and identify issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve on-site equipment problems.
* Support customers with remote diagnostics and guidance.
* Conduct risk assessments and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
* Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, vehicle checks, and job logs.
* Provide feedback to enhance product design and operational processes.
* Background in BESS systems or power electronics.
* Knowledge of HV/LV systems, including inverters, transformers, and converters.
* Understanding of industry standards such as BS7671

They are developing ground-breaking propulsion technology that is completely unique in its execution. They are currently looking for a Lead Electric Propulsion Systems Engineer to join the team permanently.
