Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the origination, execution, and management of M&A opportunities, primarily focusing on buy-side transactions.
  • Leverage your network to identify new project opportunities, collaborating with senior leaders in other organizations, banks, and advisory firms.
  • Manage and mentor your team, ensuring thorough oversight of financial models and due diligence processes before client presentations.
  • Interface regularly with our Development function to understand operational considerations that impact M&A economics.

We are seeking an ideal candidate with:

  • A strong foundation in renewable energy M&A, preferably from a Distributed Generation Independent Power Producer (DG IPP).
  • Experience navigating the complexities of the IC approval process in larger organizations.
  • Familiarity with the project development life cycle, particularly in utility-scale IPPs or investment banking environments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in renewable energy M&A.
  • Proven track record of leading successful M&A transactions.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Direct experience in a DG IPP setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams.
  • Extensive experience in leading due diligence for complex asset portfolios.
