Piper Maddox are supporting a leading renewable energy company who are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of key infrastructure projects contributing to Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon energy future. Operating across a diverse portfolio of renewable technologies, including solar PV, battery energy storage, and onshore wind, the company is continuing to grow its engineering team.

 

This opportunity is suited to an experienced Civil Engineer looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex renewable energy projects across Ireland.

 

Role: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Dublin

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary civil engineering representative on-site, overseeing construction activities carried out by EPC contractors and specialist subcontractors, while reporting into the Construction Project Manager.
  • Ensure all civil works are delivered in line with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, permits, and agreed methodologies.
  • Review and track contractor progress, quality, and compliance throughout the construction phase to ensure successful project execution.

 

Required Experience

  • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate industry experience.
  • Demonstrated background in the planning, design, and delivery of major infrastructure, construction, or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Previous experience supporting renewable energy developments such as solar, wind, BESS, or grid-related infrastructure projects.
